Downloads are not open during the pilot. Building strategies and testing them is free and unlimited in the meantime, and nothing you build is lost — your strategies and their results stay in your account.
What a download will be
The strategy as a file you can run at your own broker, yours to inspect and change. The terms already say so: anything you download is yours to deploy, and you are responsible for what it does.
We do not connect to your broker and we never place trades on your behalf. That is not a limitation we plan to remove.
Why it is closed for now
A file that places real orders is a different kind of promise from a backtest, and it should not ship until the testing underneath it is something we would stake money on. Saying "coming soon" on a button is cheaper than shipping one that loses someone money.
